Let’s start with some questions:

Who has changed that field for that record?

Who typed a weird value in the name of a contact?

When was that field changed?

What was the previous value?

Most of us

Once a change happens in a regular spreadsheet, you do not have the answers for the questions above. BestDataTable implements an Audit Extension that keep a record about the questions above. So the process is:

  1. Click on “Fields to be logged” , available upon request
  2. Define the table and the field that should be tracked
  3. Immediately after that, BestDataTable start tracking any change that any user (even admin) performs
  4. When Admin wants, he can just click on the Audit Log button and you are going to see the table
    1. of course, you can filter and export results such as any other table

We believe that a picture can demonstrate that in a better shape so…

Well, this is for Audit purposes, so we “hide” the “old” and “new” values, but in yours you can see that clearly
